Falling Ice And Snow Damages Vehicles On Murray Baker Bridge

Roughly five inches of snow fell in Peoria Sunday.

Ice and snow falling off the Murray Baker Bridge in the afternoon left nine vehicles damaged, including several shattered windows.

According to the Journal Star, there were no injuries, but four vehicles had to be towed.

Illinois State Police say the first bridge accident Sunday happened just after noon, the others occurred over the next two hours.
